Learn About Us - Room to Live Interiors
Room to Live Interiors was born from a simple yet profound passion for spatial problem-solving. Our surroundings have the power to transform how we feel, work, and live. How we function (or don't) in our homes has the power to make or break our day.
What started as a personal passion and curiosity became an opportunity to help people feel more comfortable, productive, and safe in their own homes. Not everyone needs or wants a designer home, but we all need a home where we can eat, sleep, and relax (function).
Our mission is to make peoples' lives easier by improving the way their home meets their needs. Whether those needs are physical, neurological, emotional, or spiritual, we want to help by guiding you through the process and empowering you to feel confident in your own home.

Dedicated to Creating Living Spaces that Work
Hello! My name is Kaitlyn and I am owner of Room to Live Interiors. My approach to decorating is rooted in the belief that your home shouldn’t just look beautiful—it should function in a way that supports your daily rhythm. With a background and experience in interior decorating, space planning, and organization, I help homeowners move past the frustration of clutter and into spaces that offer genuine clarity. My eclectic mix of work experience, hobbies, and education are not all what you might expect, but they have enabled me to continue learning and exploring the industry from different perspectives.
My education includes: Bachelor of Science in Nursing from McMaster University, Certificate in Interior Decorating (which included Home-Staging) from Conestoga College, and a couple other Certificates from Mohawk College.
Outside of Interior decorating and spacing planning, I have experience in the following industries: home renovations (demo, framing, drywall, electrical, plumbing, etc.), landscaping/outdoor construction (decks, fencing, sheds, etc.), event planning, and crafting (sewing, quilting, knitting, etc.).
Overall, I believe the following 5 things make me uniquely qualified to do what I do:
- An early fondness for math and problem-solving
- A love of creativity and re-imagining
- Excellent spatial awareness
- Curiosity into how things work
- A neuro-diverse brain
I’d love to help you rediscover the potential of your home. Let’s connect and start transforming your space together.
